Dress Guide | Silhouette - Fit and Flare Dress
Silhouette means the overall cut of a gown. It is one of the most important elements to focus on. Not only does it set the mood of the entire gown, the right silhouette also flatters brides’ figures.
FIT-AND-FLARE DRESS
Like a combination of narrow A-line cut and mermaid cut. It takes shape with a close-fitting bodice that hugs the body down through the hips and then gracefully flares out to the hem.
A full lace simple and elegent fit-and-flare gown (wedding dress style no. 294)
A bateau French Chantilly lace fit-and-flare gown with detachable soft tulle train (wedding dress style no. 298)
Good for: petite brides, brides with straight figures, and can even positively accentuate the curves of a more full-figured woman.
Bad for: This cut hugs the bellies closely and is not suitable for those with thick bellies
